Scott's Auto Parts Plus is the first certified car parts recycler in the country and has received various awards for its environmental and entrepreneurial endeavours in the past seven decades.
They are not only a Capricorn-preferred parts supplier but also the go-to for farmers, families, workshops and repairers, fleet owners, and even automotive dealerships.
Their Story
We go back to World War II—yes, that’s how long they trace back their roots—to their founder, Bob Scott, a soldier, bridge builder, post-war demolition team member, and vehicle dismantler.
In 1951, he bought an accident-damaged A model Ford to dismantle for parts—that was the first, and he never stopped after that. He loved and lived the idea of dismantling damaged cars so he could provide motorists with the parts they needed to keep them on the road.
He was fueled by his desire to say YES to every auto part motorists needed.
That was the legacy he passed on to his son Peter and all the people behind the Scott's Parts Plus we see today. They continue to aim for their goal of saying YES to customers more often and providing the right part the first time every time. Imagine dealing with people like that!

- They have rare parts you will not likely find anywhere else, like the 2017 Colorado fuse box that a customer needed so badly and at a very low price, too! This sounds like what Bob Scott had in mind when he made it a goal to say YES to every motorist's parts enquiry.
- Good service every time; friendly staff; always there to help
- There were conflicting opinions about the price—most were happy with the pricing, but some said the prices were too high for second-hand auto parts.
