About Sunspares Parts Plus
Sunspares Parts Plus started as a general dismantling business known as VB Auto Spares. In 1986, it underwent a few changes, specialising in Subaru wrecking at a Sippy Downs yard in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. By focusing on only one brand, Sunspares has significantly improved their product knowledge and stepped up their efficiency as specialist auto wreckers.
More employees joined in as Sunspares expanded its operations to include fitting car parts, auto servicing, car sales, refurbishing and reconditioning auto parts. As their customer base expanded, they also opened their business to interstate parts sales.
They are industry leaders in implementing environmentally friendly methods of recycling old vehicles.
They eventually needed to relocate from Sippy Downs to Yandina, marking another milestone in their history.
In 2005, Mark Adams bought the business, becoming the third and current owner of Sunspares Parts Plus. The new management carried on with the same commitment to loyal and new customers, adding Volkswagen to the range of vehicles and auto parts they deal in.
